I model the Western Maryland up til the merger, then I do a "time warp"[(-D] (Rocky horror fans?)
I also model the Maryland Midland, risen from the ashes of the "wild mary" from Glyndon to Highfield

The Pennsylvania RR--by miles. The Pennsy really stokes my fire. That, coupled with the fact the company seemed so willing to embrace a wide variety of motive power--from GG1's to Baldwin Sharks. That really made the railroad stand out in my thinking. It's a shame it's gone; I often wonder had it survived what it would look like today.

My top 5 favorite would be the Pennsylvania Railroad, Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines, Reading, Conrail, Jersey Central.

The Southern Railway. They had beautifully detailed, well maintained locomotives, good looking, very distinctive cabs, and they were a very well run successful railroad.

I like the chessie but I voted CSX . Thats why I modeled the merger the best of both worlds.
Im also a big fan of the East Broad Top since their ROW is in my back yard!
