Thank you for the link to Tonys Trains. I built the CTC-16e many years ago when the articles appeared in MR. I have been very pleased with the operation of this system until I happened to hear the latest generation sound effects available. I am thinking about making a quantum leap into the 21st Century and changing to a newer system complete with all the bells and whistles (pun intended). But I am not an eletronics type. I need to be taken by the hand and led, much as the MR articles did. You have given me a start in the right direction and I thank all of you for it. <br /> <br />Tom
