Lots of magazines are much thinner today than they were 10 years ago (get some old and new copies of a computer mag like PC Magazine and you'll see what I meant). I compared a recent issue to one from the early 90's, and noticed that there are a lot less big, multi-page ads now, which probably accounts for some of the loss of bulk. Guess most of those folks have moved to or been replaced by web sites. <br /> <br />On the other hand, the cost of a subscription hasn't really changed between then and now, which kind-of surprised me.
