Atlas #304 Roundtable Motor
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 4:57 PM
I recently got my roundtable and motor operator installed on my layout but am having problems. I tried it out when I got it a few months back and everything worked fine. Now that I have it installed it doesn't seem to work. It seem that the shaft is turning but the the rest just sits there. Should I change the rubberband or do something different. I'm not sure what the voltage should be either. At present I'm using aprx. 17vAC. I lost the instructions somewhere in my menagerie of paperwork and don't know what else to do. Any help or information will be kindly accepted and tried. John

Change the supply voltage to 5v DC. I run mine on an old power pack and use the throttle to control the speed of the motor.

Mike, Thanks. I'll try it and let you know if it works. Sounds like it will.
