Jeremy - [#welcome] to Jeffrey´s Trackside Diner!

This thread is a virtual old fashioned diner, just like in the 1940´s or 1950´s. Folks meet here to talk about the day they had, what their plans are and such - just like friends meeting in a realy diner did when they met for lunch or after work in those days. It´s the only place where you can talk [#offtopic], but always within the policy our host Kalmbach has set for this forum. So no political or religious talk, please.

We share (to a degree) our lives, our joy as well as our grief in here - just like friends do. We actually feel like friends, although most of us will never have the chance to meet. We may appear to be a closed shop, but we are not - we always welcome new members.

Jeffrey´s Trackside Diner was actually named "Elliot´s Trackside Diner" for its founder many, many years ago. It was renamed into "Jeffrey´s Trackside Diner" when our dear friend Jeffrey Wimberley aka Running Bear passed away on December 15th, 2014.

The place is run by "Cousin Vinnie", the virtual proprietor, who vigorously enforces the forum rules, assisted by Steven "The Law" Otte from Kalmbach. Cousin Vinnie usually is snoozing in one of the backbooths and we better not wake him up. Janie, Flo, the twins Chloe and Zoe, and Brunhilda, the Swedish girl are the waitresses, happily serving your order of food and beverages of your choice. They deserve to be treated nice.

So come on in, sit a spell and tell us a little bit about you, your "trains" - Janie, bring this chap whatever poison he favors and put it on my tab.
