No tornado in sight so far, but we continue to be under a warning. It´s supper time over here, so I´ll go for a nice sirloin steak, medium-rare, baked potato topped with sour creme and  aside dish of string beans - haricots vert, as the French say. Add a [B] to that, Brunhilda, dear! It´s hot & humid outside - makes me feel a little dumb in my head. Did I hear somebody laughing and saying this would be my normal state? Well, I was just about to order a round of track for you guys ... With the Gotthard base tunnel entering into regular operation at the end of this year, there is a big question mark on the future of the old mountain route. All international services will pass through the new tunnel, and the regional trains won´t pay for the upkeep. In the long run, this may mean the end of the old and historic route.
