Just in for a few moments. I haven´t read any post yet, but will do that hereafter! I am so happy to see Galaxy back here. More to that later. My friend Lothar was here and we did not finish w*rk on the wiring. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and some model railroading talk. He took my little loco with him and will try to get it back on the track. I am quite confident that he will succeed in doing that, as he has done it before. Marklin´s warranty does not kick in as it was my own stupidity causing the problem. I learned a big lesson today, but not necessarily a nice one. I have lost a number of skills and, which is more important, my confidence in what I am doing. This will influence my decision on whether or how I will continue. I know now that I won´t be able to continue on that Z scale layout, so I will most likely complete the wiring and try to sell it unfinished. I will finish my Swiss narrow gauge layout with the help of Lothar and then sell it. Once both layouts have been disposed of I will revisit my physical and mental situation to see whether I can do at least something to stay in the hobby which has been a companion for 53 years. Prospects are not to good though. I am not happy about it but deep down in my heart I knew this was coming.
