I have done it!

I ruined my perfectly fine Marklin Z scale 2-10-0 by opening the gearbox to carefully lubricate the gears. Of course, the wheels got out of quarter and any attempt to straighten that failed. I finally took all the wheels out. They are still linked with the side rods and I have no chance at all at getting them back in in the proper position!

I think I should change my hobby to collecting stamps! Seriously (although I hate collecting stamps)!
