Good Afternoon!

Well, the night was actually much better thanI had expected - I did get 4 hours of sleep in the first go and another two a couple of hours later. The pain meds seem to kick in, bringing the pain to a bearable level. But now I feel really sick in my stomach.

I did some w*rk on my layout, just to get my mind set to mor enjoyable things. I installed the console for the powerpack and the switch controls. It was a rather fiddly affair, as I had to doe soem of the wiring before fastening the console to the benchwork. It was one of those instance one could you a telescopic third arm & hand. Some how I got it done, but that will be all for the next few days until my shoulder is much better.

Here is the newest picture of my "true table-top" layout, resting on our dinig table:

YGW - I have received your email, but the enclosed pdf-file shows something black in a black environment.

"Miss June" is in my humble opinion the classiest German steam loco ever built. Despite her size, she displayed a certain sporty elegance unequaled by other locos of the steam age. Runner ups on my list of favourites are the former Royal Bavarian State Railway class S 3/6, also built by Krauss-Maffei of Munich in 1908

and the Royal Wurttemberg State Railway class C built by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen in 1909

The latter one dieappeared in 1955, so I never saw her. She had the nickname "The Beautiful Wurttembergian".
