Is this an ebay specific issue?
I ordered a part for my classic car off ebay. The vendor shipped it USPS, and billed me, promptly but it is a week late with no change from "in-transit" for a week. Hate to cancel it as vendor isn't at fault but....
At the same time I had another part shipped USPS from a vendor, no ebay envolved, that arrived as scheduled.

A week after I bought and paid for my eBay item, the seller sent me a message saying that he was under lockdown in his community and could not go to the post office, a claim that I maintain was a lie.
Anyhow, a week later the seller finally created a USPS shipping label. Then, it took USPS another 10 days to ship it 700 miles to my house. Each day, the USPS tracking site would update to the then current date with the remark "in transit".
Perhaps eBay shipments have lower priority with USPS because of the eBay discount on USPS shipping.

Suspect USPS is hurting for help during this crisis.
They just announced in my area that mail may be delayed and delivery will be every other day due to laack of healthy workers.
