Open up all your boxcar doors.  Your trains picked up loads when you weren't looking.

THATS IT!

There is a 1-ounce gold bar in every boxcar!Pirate

Wishful thinking........It was probably more like 800 bags of flour on the floor.....LOL Whistling

My BLI PRR J1 (2-10-4) had no trouble taking a 50-car coal drag around the layout, but at one point on level track it would lose traction and come to a stop with drivers spinning. Assuming that on an unsprung, non-equalized chassis only three wheels will be making any significant contact with the rail at any one time, I removed the axle with the traction tire and placed a teeny-weenie square of electrical tape on top of the bearing block and reassembled. This ensured that the tire-equipped wheel would always be one of the three making contact with the rail and the problem was solved.

Do both engines stall at the same place on the track?

Are all the engine wheels touching the track?
