I thought about doing something like that Timmy, except an EMD version with a spartan style cab.

First up, The Demon's Hollow & Pacific "Future fleet" of SD-9's.

I like these Timmy, being a fan of SD 9's myself. What are you planning on doing with these. Just wondering since we're talking here.

It seems you're always doing something. That's a good thingWink

It does seem to me you like blue a bit.

I got a  heck of a deal on a case of Testors French Blue.

Only the Wyler's Gulch & Western locomotive's get the Blue paint.

I do paint other color's too...

Rust...... It's a good thing !

Their all going to be matching unit's .

This is the completed unit.

The picture's are just a " false front". They make it "seem" like stuff is getting glued.... what they dont show, is the Month's in between workbench session's .

NICE  you do nice work Timmy.

I'm going to have to spark up my new airbrush and get familiar with it. I have a nice mini compressor too. I have no experience with this as it is a new endeavor.

So much to do with this hobby that I enjoy. I wish I could make more time for itWink

I didn't even think about what I was building..... I just grabbed some "spare part's" that were laying around, and this is what came out of the shop.

I would love to see what your Idea would look like. Which EMD ?

I only started using an Airbrush back in July. I have been using "rattle can's" for the past 45 year's.  ( I got way to use to them. ) I find my airbrushing Technique to be a bit "Heavy handed".

I find myself trying to get the paint on in one or two coat's.... instead of 5 or 6 "light" coat's.

I'm not sure I've ever had the patience of for 6 coats but repressing the urge to cover in one or two coats is a treatable condition.

NICE  you do nice work Timmy.

Thank's ! I use to build for cash..... but it quickly turned into "Work" and wasn't fun anymore. So now , I build just for me.

You should see my "Other " model's ...

( I build Train's , car's , trucks, plain's , ship's ,tank's, Figure's ...ect.

I use to build in every scale there is ( 1/12 through 1/700 ) but as I got older, my eye's, even with an Optivisor, cant focus on anything smaller than 1/250 scale.... and even that is quickly slipping from me.

Here's a link to some of my stuff.

Hope the link work's .

Huh   It's funny how words tell us a story that we are so used to seeing.

45 years?

I thought you were a young pup Timmy. Maybe it was the (Little) that was misleading.LaughSmile, Wink & Grin

Or maybe that little green toy truckSmile yep that could be it

Yes.... my Doctor prescribed "Gluemotoron" as a cure.

But the "side effect's ' include an urge to randomly rifle through box's of leftover part's

Not a bad thing..... it just result's in stuff like this coming out of my shop.

There's a story behind my name..... but that's best left for another time.....

( " What's that Lassie" ??? " Little Timmy fell down the well" ??? )

Well, frankly, I just love the stuff that comes out of your shop. Tons of character and really fun.

This is one of ther craziest things to ever come out of my shop, but not at all railroad related. However, it is steam powered!

Timmy did you fall down into a well when you were a little kid?  That sounds like a terrible experience.  Hopefully not but I think you didZip it!

No, no ... nothing like that. I just "use" to get myself ( and all of my friend's ) into trouble ....... from time to time.   Just like Lassie's friend Little Timmy.

So the other Parent's nick-named me "Little Timmy"
