Although too early for my 1970's era, the 1060 Fords look quite nice!
Yes, warped and bowed floors were a problem on both the bi-level and tri-level cars. It seemed to affect more of the tri-levels than the bi-levels.
Apparently on the tri-levels it was attributed to the metal weight being bent. If you could disassemble the flat car and bend the weight flat, and re-assemble, they would be fine.
