Atlantic and Hibernia
I have always wanted to come up with a logo for the Archaeopteryx Quarry Railway, the Route of the Flying Dinosaur, but could never quite manage it.

Just don't get a guy who works for Coca Cola or Nike to design the logo or you end up with something like that BNSF "swoosh" logo.  Yuk.

Happily modeling the STRATTON & GILLETTE RAILROAD located in a world of plausible nonsense set in August, 1954.

Heh heh, Gillette, the competitor to the company Victor Kiam bought!   You liked it so much, you bought the company?  Big Smile

My Railroad the James River & Western is a subsidiary of another rail road called the Norfolk, Carolina & Danville. The NCD was formed through some mergers in the 1970s so I wanted a logo that was quite 70s in its design. So I created this logo using a font called "Stereofunk"
