Ever painted yourself into a corner?
Posted by RR_Mel on Saturday, October 7, 2017 10:49 AM

Ever painted yourself into a corner?  I needed to make a couple of modifications to a scratch built house and afterwards I had light leaks in very hard to get to areas.  After a bit of thought I came up with an answer, I needed an angle brush.  I had a cheapo plastic rarely used brush so with Ye Old Soldering Iron I heated the plastic and bent the brush into a 90° angle.

No more light leaks.

I love it... a painter's version of a right angle access wrench.

Nice idea!

From your title, I thought you might've gotten in trouble with your wife!  (Not that that has EVER happened to me, of course!  Cool Black Eye

Mel:

That looks like a good old fashioned Testors brush. I actually like using them because their bristles are rather stiff. They seem to make it easier for me to paint 'relatively' straight lines. Note the emphasis on 'relatively'.LaughLaugh

Good suggestion!
