At first, I thought this announcement had nothing to do with me. I don't model the N&W--mostly Northwestern railroads with some sentimental favorites elsewhere.
Ah, but then I see the Virginian. I DO have a couple of Bachmann Virginian rectifier electrics. Pretty much my ONLY electrics.
They deserve a caboose.
Looks like they're going to GET a caboose.

I hope they can get caught up with their production schedule, though! I've been waiting well over two three years for the offered B&O I-5:

I know Bill Carl runs are a small, custom operation, and I'm more than happy to support them so I'm being patient but I'm not getting any younger, either!
Their I-12s are superb models and I'm sure glad I got those when I did.
Good Luck, Ed

I am more interested in the Wabash Cabooses as they purchased some of them from a used equipment supplier. Many of them had their cupolas removed and were in transfer service on the Wabash. One of the numbers they are offering used to run behind my house in Toledo shuttling the Anderson's hopper cars filled with grain from Maumee to the Toledo docks, I will be getting that car plus a couple of the steel C-30's.

Rule 1: This is my railroad.
Rule 2: I make the rules.
Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!
How much will they be and when can we expect them?
We need a Southern and Louisvile & Nashville Caboose as well.
Before this, the only accurate N&W Cabooses I saw were custom kit bashed models that occasionally turned up on evilbay.
