HO Challenger DC Remote Feature.

For us non DCC modelers you can now run another analog loco but slower one at the same time/same track as the new Challanger without rear-ending.

When you use the power pack's throttle to control the Challenger's speed, the top speed will be
limited by the transmitter's speed setting when activated without affecting the speed of the slower
analog loco.

At a full throttle you can decelerate the Challenger with the remote.

Ah Chuck, glad to see you've finally run your Challenger? What do you think of it, sound and operating wise?

I'm just DC so those posted negatives about sub sound is not a concern so in my case the sound & remote are extra bonus.

Appearence wise, similar to my Beast from the East, 2-6-6-6 which was more expensive and without the bonus

When I run both at the same time, same track, the operation of the beast is
loud enough to detrack from the sound effects.

The manual recommends not to operate the loco in excess of 18 volts but with
my MRC 9500 series I can't get it beyond 13. This limitation acts as a speed governor.
