I scratchbuilt my n-scale double-track helix in a weekend with roadbed and flextrack layed but I'll never do it again. Not only was it frustrating- but I built the complete helix first and then layed the track. After smoothing out a couple of glitches with the dremel I was amazed how well it worked. It is an economical solution taking up little space but next time I'll do something different(?)
