<p>Good Morning!</p> <p>We are enjoying a beautiful morning here in northern Germany, while the folks in the south are still battling the flood. All major rivers are affected, but once the flood wave on the Elbe river will reach Hamburg, it´ll be reduced to close to nothing - the port area is big enough to cope with a little extra water.</p> <p><a href="http://cdn4.spiegel.de/images/image-503567-galleryV9-oarv.jpg"><img src="http://cdn4.spiegel.de/images/image-503567-galleryV9-oarv.jpg" alt=" " border="0" /></a></p> <p><a href="http://bilder3.n-tv.de/img/incoming/crop10753606/6714688205-cImg_16_9-w670/3c131037.jpg"><img src="http://bilder3.n-tv.de/img/incoming/crop10753606/6714688205-cImg_16_9-w670/3c131037.jpg" alt=" " border="0" /></a></p> <p><a href="http://bc01.rp-online.de/polopoly_fs/rettungskraefte-fahren-schlauchboot-03062013-hochwasser-grimma-1.3440259.1370262946!/httpImage/2551453849.jpg_gen/derivatives/rpo_zoom1024/2551453849.jpg"><img src="http://bc01.rp-online.de/polopoly_fs/rettungskraefte-fahren-schlauchboot-03062013-hochwasser-grimma-1.3440259.1370262946!/httpImage/2551453849.jpg_gen/derivatives/rpo_zoom1024/2551453849.jpg" alt=" " border="0" /></a></p> <p><a href="http://media1.abendzeitung-muenchen.de/media.media.84a50bd5-c5ae-4941-899d-d2ee7861476e.normalized.jpeg"><img src="http://media1.abendzeitung-muenchen.de/media.media.84a50bd5-c5ae-4941-899d-d2ee7861476e.normalized.jpeg" alt=" " border="0" /></a></p> <p>Please include the folks down there in your prayers.</p> <p>I actually did some MRRing yesterday - I needed a break from all this party work. I started assembling the kits for those background buildings on my layout. These are resin kits - a material which I don´t like very much. All of the facades were warped, so I had to put them into boiling water to straighten them carefully. The material is awkward to work with - just too bristle. The kits did not come with sides wall, so I used some leftover styrene sheet to fabricate the side walls. Nothing to show yet, but I promise to post pictures.</p> <p>Lion - didn´t know the had a "Flying Lions" corps in the US Navy... [swg]</p> <p>Have a good one!</p>
