Good Morning Folks, No nasty email from my dear brother in my mailbox this morning! Is this a good sign? I am afraid not. My brother has been a genuine creep all his life and he takes a pleasure to make other folks´ life as miserable as his own. In those twenty years my parents had been living in their home, he visited them only 3 or 4 times, just for a couple of hours each time. He never took care of them when they needed help. When my Dad suffered from a stroke,  I spent more than a month with my Mom to help and support her. Two years ago, I spent 3 months taking care of my Dad while Mom was in the hospital. This year, I spent 3 months with my Mom, taking her to see Dad every day, do the shopping, laundry, cooking, cleaning the house, seeing to it that she takes her medication, doing all the paper work, including my Dad´s tax return. My Mom shouted at me, accused me of stealing, called the police, even hit me during that time. When my car failed, my Dad told me to buy a new one, so I just followed his wish. There is nothing I have to justify. Fortunately, my Mom´s money will take care of all her needs. Her medical insurance will pick up most, if not all, of the bills for her care. She will move back into her house in a few days. I know this will end up in a disaster, as she won´t accept anybody helping her. She will not eat properly and she won´t take her medication - I have been through that a number of times with her. But there is nothing I can do about it. Even though she has ill-treated me in the past month´s, she is still my Mom and I want her to be taken care of in the right way. I am most unhappy about what is ahead of us. Have a good Sunday!
