Good Morning Folks! it has been a tiring, but rewarding day yesterday. I had to chair the first party board meeting after having been elected chairman a week ago. We were actually able to work our way through the entire agenda and make the "right" decisions. Lots of work ahead till September! Good thing is that a recent poll by one of our leading tabloid newspapers sees us at 19%, which would be too good to be true. Some of the German media people still call us names - rightist, nationalists, populists being the harmless ones. Thank goodness I learned how to grow a thick skin while being a moderator of the Trains forums [swg] thebarnet - congratulation to the newlyweds! My your marriage be blessed. I am in my 30th year of marriage, and there has not been a single day of regret! CNCharlie - well come back. I bet you enjoyed your trip. Was the loco pulling your train a SAR class 25NC? Those are fairly large beasts for a narrow gauge loco, just about the size of a regular standard gauge loco in Europe, but small when compared to the behemoths of the US. I am concerned about our MIA´s -so any of us "regulars" have not shown up for a long time! Have a good one!
