Lunchtime in Germany!

Chloe, I´ll have a Barry-sized burger, fries and a mug of coffee, please!

My Internet connection was down all morning, so I used the time to take a second look at some of the structures. Some of them just weren´t looking right, so I looked at some pictures we had taken during a visit to one of our coastal towns years back. Those were the days before digital photography ... [:-^]

While some of the buildings were fine, I had to redo those gable-houses again. When I prepare the drawings, I always have the materials I can use in mind. In the 18.th century, merchants usually displayed their wealth by having highly ornamented houses. I previous drawings, I kind of left that out, not knowing how to model all those stucco ornaments. To cut things short, I have found a way, but I won´t be telling you until I start construction. The solution is so simple I am a little ashamed to tell it now... [:-^]

This is what the houses now look like:

Each one will be in a different color, from light blue to a light pink and yellow.

Incorporated into the plan, it looks like this:

I hope to be able to buy some of the materials I need at the train show coming Friday.

Y´ all have a good´ un!
