I watch some hockey but it won't upset me if I don't get to watch it. Besides I kind of have the best of two worlds anyway on my layout. I model the SOO LINE, & the hockey stick paint scheme of the mid 70's is my favorite! "HAPPY RAILS"

Frankly, the NHL has overexpanded to places in the South where the only water that freezes is in the drinks. I feel sorry for all the vendors & other workers in the rinks that may not have a job this winter. The big problem i hear is for small-market teams like Nashville or Columbus that should be minor-league teams feeding players to the big rinks. Some of them may go under, I say good riddance! Maybe some of the players cam learn to kick a football!

The loss of NHL could result in more sales by Atlas, LifeLike etc if only the'd make some nice new freight/passenger cars to go with all the new lokies poduced the last few years! C'mon DPM time to produce more storefront models!

Do they still televise hockey???? I haven't seen a game on TV in years.

Thank goodness it is football season.....a great chance to put together some rolling stock or renumber cars.

Modular railroading at its best!
If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!

I'm a Dallas Stars fan and season ticket holder, so I will have about 80 nights more availalbe for modeling this year......since I felt compelled to watch every game.

Baseball lost me on their second strike, so I am not sure how I will react when they come back........
