This is why I should have NOT modeled part of the double main track between Chicago and Galesburg, IL -- most of my locos and rolling stock were purchased just for that part of the layout. I could have saved some serious $$ if I had ONLY modeled the Illiniwek River Branch.

Oh well...I'm still having FUN (and paying for it, too!)

I like small switchers, so their numbers keep multiplying. The Cedar Branch and Western is the proud owner of a number of SW's, 44 and 70 tonners. Of course, I have several of each and they look swell in a lashup struggling up the mountain with a coal train.
