Lunchtime in snowy northern Germany!

It seems, as if this winter is going to be worse than the last one. Never had that much of that white stuff so early into the season!

Chloe, I am having a bowl of Polish Chili Verde Soup, hot & spicy, and a mug o´ coffee, please.

After working down the HD list (grocery run, laundry) I started to work on my Swiss friend´s track plan, using the same concept as for Ken´s plan. Now his room is much smaller, so the layout can´t be as sleek as I would like it to be. He is also using Marklin (yuck!) K-track, which means sharp curves and toy-like switches, but I think I achieved the max under those circumstances [:-^]

Here is the old plan:

... and now the new plan:

I am getting a little better at the graphic rendering.

Pascal is working on the "northern" part and has not yet started on the lower part, so the change in plans can be made without putting the work he has done so far at stake. The layout is now featuring an additional hidden staging yard. Main points of interest are landmark items, such as the station with its typical Swiss Chalet type depot, the "Felsenburg" castle atop of the Felsenberg III tunnel, and the famous Kander- and Bietschtal viaducts. I have asked Pascal to send me some pictures of his work to be shared with you.

Petra is having her lady friends of for a typical German Advent time "Coffee and Cake" party this afternoon. She made this lovely poppy seed & vanilla cream pie for the girls:

I hope I can snatch a slice and hide away in my den [:-^]

A good one to all of you!
