Not being DCC, I had no choice in the matter, didn't want to get re-ended. <br /> <br />One can also do the same on a caboose, for a constant on red , just by getting a non-blinking led. <br /> <br />ADDENDUM: <br />On the caboose I use a smaller red led, 5mm, part# 276.209, insert it into <br />the rear wide railing into the caboose body. and connect to above assembly. <br /> <br />Also used the same idea in the rear roof of my Athearn 72' observation <br />end car by drilling a hole to seat the led and connect to the above assembly.
