It makes all the difference in the world on cheaper cars, the Athearn Blue boxes especially roll better now. I changed over hoping to keep my track clean tooo,a nd it seems to be working now. My only experience with P2K wheels was a bad one, they kind of disintegrated on the track and made a huge mess all the way around, but I think that was just a fluke deal because P2k wouldn't put their name on something like that if it happened often. I've gone through 7 or 8 packs, plus have a half dozen cars that already came with them, and my father-in-law has used a like number of packs converting some of his cars, and we haven't had a bad one yet. Wow, that's a lot of wheelsets... good thing MB Klein has such a good price on them. --Randy Modeling the Reading Railroad in the 1950's Visit my web site at www.readingeastpenn.com for construction updates, DCC Info, and more. Acutally, Chuck posted that website in January 2002 when this thread started. Perhaps they were still in Lenexa back then.
