What was that, ten minutes? And I went through a book to find something obscure to make people think awhile. ;) Maybe I should have found some obscure facts about a common engine instead. Yeah, they called it their "4S", and it was a 1500 HP road switcher built in 1945 as a demonstrator for a whole line of engines they had a catalog for, but it never got off of the ground. It couldn't have been too bad if it ran for twenty years before it was traded in to EMD. 'Kay Peter, you're up! ---jps
