I have four of the Athearn SD50s, they are NOT Genesis, they are Athearnn Ready to Run. I prefer these to the LifeLike products, because you never know what LL is going to put in the chassis. The SD60 is fine by itself, but will not run Athearn, Kato, or anything eles. Don't get me wrong, I've got 6 P2K GP30s, and they are fine. The problems are with the SD60s. I also prefer the Kato SD45, because the LL ones, for the Rio Grande, are just tooo dark. I may pick up an Undec and see what I can do. But I would buy the Athearn SD50s.
