I love seeing a Steamer helping a couple Diesels over the pass. [:D]

Mr. Bruce!

Those photos you posted over on the "trees" thread they belong over here if you please and thanks! Seriously this is the stuff we need to see to get motivated. As for your comment regarding winning any photo contests, well you've won me over as I had to take a better look at that photo to determine how real it really was. I get a sleepy hollow kind of feeling and it's a good one.

Got any more?

On another note if you didn't take the photo please give credit where credit is due! As an amateur photographer who has been published with and without credit it is only fair we recognize the talent of those who give us their benefit of their abilities. Nothing worse than seeing your photo in a reputable book and not being given credit!

Thanks Fergus. I'm not a professional by any stretch. I took that shot with a borrowed cheap digital camera. The effect was unintentional, and I could not recreate it if I wanted to. It was probably due to a combination of lighting, slightly out of focus background, and perhaps the alignment of the stars at that moment! [:D][:D][;)]

More shots? Okay, remember, you asked for it! [:0]

That is one of the best shots of a bigboy I have ever seen. If only it were a bit more clear.

Here's one

Trying to keep this thread alive...

I don't have a layout yet but I love the look of my BLI GG1! Just hope it finally runs as well as it looks when BLI sends it back to me (it's being serviced as we speak).

That's the middle of a double-headed Amtrak phase 5 AMD-103 behind it, if anyone's wondering (that's the butt-end of the trailing unit).

I have decided to share some prototype photos from my personal collection. All the photos I share have been taked iether by me or a friend. I have placed the photo credit in color coded Italics by each caption. I have shown the best of what I have displayed online. There will be more to come in the future.

A rear profile shot of Union Pacific 8444. This shot nicely shows off Union Pacific's Grayhound Scheme. This is my favorite locomotive paint scheme. However I think it looks even better on Union Pacific's Challengers. Location: Denver Union Station Larry Dilts Photo
