The Canadian$ is so closely tied to the US$ that it is getting sucked down too. The plummeting US$ is currently at its lowest global value within living memory. The way things are going, imported goods of any kind will start to disappear. Of course this makes for cheap American goods overseas which is why the US economy is booming and all US exporting companies are seeing such huge profits. At home a buck is a buck but overseas you will need about $1.40 in Bushbux to buy what a Clintonbuck would. Some countries you'll need more.
