I would agree. I built the 2-8-0 Pennsy consolidation about 10 years ago, my first attempt to build a steam kit. <br />Follow the instructions and it will run fine, just do all those things they always say, like read all instructions first. <br />The biggest problem I had was the appearance of the stack. THe white metal casting seemed too thick, so I tried to drill it out. Being impatient, I ended up with a somewhat shredded stack, which I replaced with a Cal Scale casting that looked better to me. <br />I was wondering if anyone had any advice on repowering the Bowsers with can moters and flywheels. It runs well, but it could be improved.
