Kato HO scale shorts out when more than 1 power track, running Digitrax DCS 52. How to add more power track feed and avoid shorts?

Kato Unitrack switches have two screws in the bottom that you can use to change them power routing (the factory setting) to non-power routing. I suspect changing them to non-power routing may solve your problem.

After that, you might fasten the track in a few locations with tiny screws. Once it's assembled, it's quite solid, so you really just need a couple spots to keep it stationary.

This is a very popular brand of model train track system especially well-suited for N scale and HO scale trains.
