Question on Bachmann SP Daylight train set

I think BLI is doing a run as well. I'd wait a month for that

I'm honestly not sure on the Bachmann version. But if you can hold off....ScaleTrains will be releasing a version of the Daylight late this year rumor has it. 

I've had two of the Bachmann Daylights and they've convinced me to never buy Bachmann again unfortunately. But that's just my experience. Take it with a grain of salt :)

Question on Bachmann SP Daylight train set

I have been debating whether to buy the Bachmann SP Daylight train set or the Daylight loco with installed DCC separately. I was interested in the set because I rode behind #4449 when there was the 1984 excursion to New Orleans that had the matching passenger cars.

The question is..does the 4-8-4 in the Daylight set have a socket for DCC decoder?
