vyzywig Hello, I connected the BD4N to the Command/Booster Module as instructed in the manual page that comes with the BD4N. According to that the RailA is common and it looks like the detection sections are on the RailB side of things. So I connected the detection section terminals to the isolated RailB sections. All sections show detection!! Even if there is NO loco!! If I assumed I was wrong and connected the detection sections to isolated RailA and treat the RailB as common, there is no power given to the track. Very frustrating! Any ideas what I may be doing wrong ?

Okay, it's been a month and the OP has not responded. No big deal. But if he's still around and reads this, here's something he can try . . .
I hope this works. This is pretty much the end of my knowledge and advice. Good luck.

What device is the BD4N reporting to? That is, what is at the other end of the OCC Out 10-pin flat ribbon cable? Are the connectors on both ends of that ribbon cable connected/aligned properly?
My setup has the BD4 OCC Out signal connected via 10-pin flat ribbon to the nearest SE8C board, which takes the info and sends it through the 6-conductor LocoNet cable to the Command Station and through the PR3 to the laptop PC on the dispatcher's desk.

Not a digitrax guy but how are you powering the BD4N? My reading of the instructions say it should come from the Bus.
There are lot's of Digitrax fans, so the cognecenti should show up shortly.
