From my own experience you might have trouble getting lighting functions to work properly since BLI uses their own lighting board which gets data commands from the decoder over one wire named "serial". I've found their recent lighting uses a negative cathode common, opposite most NMRA standards.

Hi folks, I am scratchbuilding the nkp 587 that used to run here in Indianapolis.
The decoder I'm using is a paragon 3 with the plug in go pack.
The engine is a trix mikado and the tender is a Rivarossi. I have managed to get the motor leads and the tender pickups correct. now I need help with what all the other plugs/wires for paragon 3 go to.
if you have knowledge of what goes where please post.
i am aware of BLI decoder "faults" please don't rehash them here. I like them and rolling thunder
