Curious about cables. I do not see a source on ebay for bulk c6p6 cable to make custom lengths. lots of videos on youtube how to add connectors to cables but where can one get bulk cable to make custom lengths. Do most people just buy ready made cables?
Are you talking about the flat throttle cable and control cables? Our club picked up a 500 foot spool at Home Depot. I made a three foot long one for my Power Cab for my workbench.

I've had good luck with Show Me Cables for true six-conductor cables (pre-made) and connectors.
When specifying the pin-out make sure it's "straight" and not "reverse".

I bought mine mostly from Amazon, that was years ago. IIRC it was a 250 foot bulk roll and a bunch of RJ12 connectors.
Sometimes I bought ready-made cables and simply cut off one end to get the particular length I wanted and crimped a new plug onto it.
