Just a quick update on the plugs. I bought some from Amazon and they work perfectly. Much less expensive than buying the lights from Woodland Scenics. All you need is to solder an LED and resistor to the plug wires and they are good to go. Here is the link to the ones I got on the internet.

5 Pairs JST-XH 2.54mm 1S 2 Pin Balance Plug Lead Socket Male and Female Connector with 10cm Silicone Wire Cables for Woodland Just Plug Lights 3D Printer

They do look like the smaller male plugs.

If you can use what I have in the photo send me your address and they're yours. But you're looking for the male plug?

These would work:

Yes, the smaller white male plug in the above picture is 2.54mm between the two metal female sockets.

They do look like the smaller male plugs. If those are JST , what is the spacing 2.54?

That would be my guess based on the photos of the products posted. I can't imagine they would go to the added expense of using a custom connector when JST are cheap and plentiful.

I'm sure they meant to use "proprietary". What they don't want you to know is you can get the same part for a small percentage of what the charge from any electronic parts distributor.

I don't think they meant to say that in their response.  Imagine the certification and testing that would have to happen for "proprietary" electrical connections.  For model LED lighting?  Gosh no.

Woodland Scenics Plug and Play connectors
Posted by Fred4hp on Friday, May 6, 2022 9:13 AM

Has anyone found what jst connectors will work with the Plug and Play LEDs from Woodland Scenics. I want to replace a broken male connector on one of the LED wires. They look like jst connectors but not sure which jst connector to get. I asked Woodland Scenics and they responded that the connectors were proprietary and did not give me any information.
