I bought a Kroy when they first came out in the early 2000s before I retired.  It worked very good, I used it for labeling video cables (RG59/RG6).  Back then it was the best thing since Swiss Cheese.

Edit:

The smalest legible text on heatshrink using the labeler was #18 wire.

Heat Shrink Labels for Wiring
Posted by JPD on Monday, November 8, 2021 4:19 PM

Would any of you be able to recommend a good label printer that can print on heat shrink labels? My old Brother P-Touch PT-1880 label printer will apparently not do the job. I tried picking one out on Amazon.com, but there is conflicting information about the necessary cartridges. I need something that can print out heat shrink lables for AWG 12-22.

I have to wire up several control panels and being able to label each wire and associate it with the number of the turnout would be a great aid.

Any suggestions are welcome.
