Does anyone have the instructions to upgrade a Precision Craft Model DC Bigboy to ESU DCC/sound? This dates to about 2006. The mother board has an 8 pin receptical, 21 pin male plug and jumper pin.
SHould be as simple as removing the jumper from the 8 pin connector and attaching a 21 pin decoder. The real problem is figuring out where the speaker is supposed to connect. The diagrams for the old PCM versions are not on BLI's web site. Mine are packed away - should be the same board in all of them but I don't recall which connector is the one for the speakers.

You are right about the 21 pin connector! I used an ESU decoder. The mother board has a socket for the speakers. The biggest problem was that the rear tender and cab lights burned-out. Replaced the LEDs along with 390 ohm resistors to compensate for 13.5v that resulted. WORKS GREAT!!
