SOUND DECODER with 1 watt sound output
Posted by Hawks Rule on Friday, February 5, 2021 2:05 PM

I need clarification on watts, impedence and amps.

If I buy a sound decoder that has 1 watt sound output, I can only use a speaker that is 1/2 watt or 1/34 watt or 1 watt max.

Is that correct?

Also, does it matter if the speaker is 4 or 8 or 32 ohms?
