Hello all, I've recently figured out how to program lighting with an NCE Procab. I also own a Kato Amtrak SDP40f with a tcs K7D4 decoder. I'd like to replicate the lighting in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDRfsFbIR2U Ignoring the upper headlights, I want to have 3 Main lights 1. The Lightboards/upperhead lights
2. The Central constant-white light.
3. The lower central gyra light.
I know the K7D4 has 2 extra lighting slots (Purple and Green) but I don't know what wires, LEDs, and how to mill the frame. Any tips or recommendations?

The video could have been more helpful and better cinematography. Milling sounds like it was necessary to make room for a speaker, your decoder is not sound.
This video looks like the original circuit board has a surface mount LED and the must be some light piping in the shell to distribute the light. If I'm correct, you are going to have to figure out how to both use it and bypass it.
It's an interesting dilemma, how to get light every where you want it. The replacement board also has installed leds. We have people who have worked with those so they will weigh in.
I can't access the TCS site, but I would expect the purple and green can be configured in muliple ways to get the lighting you want. No idea is you need resistors with that decoder board.
