Hoping someone has figured this one out. I have a new MTH HO (just received in Jan 2020) featuring whistle smoke. I had intended to just use it with DCC. At first, MTH did not have a manual posted for this locomotive so there was no way to figure out how to get the whistle smoing feature working. MTH was absolutely no help. After contacting Trainworld to send it back because this was the main feature for purchasing, the manual showed up on the MTHTRAINS website. Filling a reservoir under the whistle and enabling whistle smoke (F7) yielded whistle smoke. Problem solved. However, I also wanted to get it working on my HO DCS Commander and there is nothing there for whistle smoke. The online manual mentions a softkey, the actual manual states "DCS: The FSW softkey (feature smoking whistle) activates the feature". The problem is that I cannot find this on the DCS Commander. Has anyone been successful in getting this to work?

You are not going to find many fans of DCS here. From the directions on page 12 & 13 of the manual here, the ENG SND toggles a little smoke stack icon in the display.
Maybe someone with real world experience will chime in.
