Loco Lights Problem with Lokpilot
Posted by spfan01 on Monday, February 3, 2020 8:18 PM

I recently acquired a non-sound Rapido B36-7 and installed the recommended ESU #54615 v4.0 decoder. I can't get the lights to work right. The front and rear headlights work as they should with F0, the numberboards turn on and off with F6, but the front and rear gyralights and the red emergency light are permanently lit and don't flash. (It's an SP loco). I've tried everything I can think of to get them to turn off and on, but nothing has worked. If possible, I would like the gyralights to operate with F5 and the emergency light with F7, but I have to admit I don't know how. I feel like I need a degree in software engineering when trying to follow the ESU programming guides. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (I have an NCE Power Pro system).

There is a loksound group at groups.io    There are complaints that the English version of the instructions are inadequate.

Remapping functions sound like the easist thing in the world in the posts I read, but I don't get it.

There are people way smarter than me here, so maybe someone will weigh in.
