How are you switching? You need to use the recall to keep the functions, if you just select a previous loco, the way NCE works is it sets all the functions off. But if you use the recall, it remembers everything the wya it was.
That's why recall is an important feature on some systems, but others do not do that extra step so the recall is simply a list of the last few locos used, it's nothing special.

I've looked around and can't find anything similar to this problem. I use the NCE Power Cab for DCC control, and I have an N scale Atlas SD35 with the Loksound Select decoder from the factory. It starts and runs fine with sound, and I can switch to other locos, but when I switch back to the SD35 from another locomotive, the sound turns off. Has anyone else experienced this or seen other posts describing this issue?
