Sound projects/files are usually limited to the decoder for who it was created for.
Your Bachmann/Tsunami decoder does not allow downloads...

Not possible. Soundtraxx decoders do not allow loading your own sounds at all. And even ones that do, like ESU and Digitrax, the sound files are proprietary and only work with the specific brand.

I don't think it's possible to download sound files to a Tsunami, particularly not the limited Bachmann ones.
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
I am trying to download a Digitrax sound project onto a Bachman Tsunami decoder using a PR3 and JMRI Decoder Pro.
JMRI has no problem reading all the CV's, changing loco address, controlling the lighting etc.
However, downloading the sound project gets to the point of 'Downloading SDF data' then stops with the message 'Download Aborted: PR2 not ready'.
According to JMRI site, this could be either a cable issue, or not enough power, but my PR3 is being powered by a separate power supply and the USB cable connection is fine.
I've tried this on 2 seperate PC's, different cables etc. but always the same result.
Anyone idea why this is happening or know of any different software I can use to download the sounds?
