Just as a double check: If I'm understanding correctly there would be 6 terminals total. One side handles the negative voltage and the other handles the positive.
DPDT, prefereably center off. Terminals on one side to the power pack variable DC, terminals n the other side to the output of this throttle, and the center terminals to the track. One way, track is controlled by power pack, other way, track is controlled by the external throttle.

Yet another one for my Forum friends. I recently got a wired throttle that runs off the AC side of the pack and wires to the track but doesn't use the DC side of my power pack. I also have hookups from the pack to the track. I would like to have leave both of these connections with the ability to switch back and forth if needed. What kind of switch do I need for the circuit as described?
As usual, any assistance that can provided would be most welcomed.
