I went to the NJI site but that doesn’t help much.  Could you post a picture of your signal showing us where the problem is.  It looks like the cabinet door might open.
 
Include something in the picture that will help with size, ruler or dime.

Hi Guys

I remember asking a question about my NJ international combo house signals that I have, #2071 my wires are quite knarled from my layout teardown, I have some Lentz wire that would help in the rehab, but my question is this, what is the best way to expose the co.bo house wire without cutting to much off???
