I don't see a parts diagram. They must have one somewhere, I'd shoot them an email.

Hi -- At the Timonium show Saturday I picked up a new Broadway Limited Imports GG1, the first version (Paragon, not 2 or 3) with the QSI decoder. I bought it with the expectation that I might change out the QSI for Loksound 5, given that everything else I have is either ESU Loksound or NCE. So the swap would contribute to standardization, much simpler programming compared to QSI (I have a LokProgrammer), presumably better motor control, etc. But for anyone who has done decoder/electrical work on the BLI GG1s, I've a few questions before committing to this swap:
1. Am I going to encounter any mechanical surprises on disassembly, such as a tiny part under tension that, when released, shoots off into the land of lost parts? Also, I can't find a parts diagram for the BLI GG1. Am I correct in assuming that the metal shell comes off the frame by removing the small screws on the underside of the frame?
2. Similarly, might there be any potential electrical surprises (e.g., a built in speaker with a non-standard ohm rating, inability to access something impotant, etc.)?
Thanks very much for any insight from your experiences!
