I'm not sure but I think I may have solved the problem... still testing. So far so good. I am connected to my dedicated local router via hard wired ethernet. I was inadvertently also connected to same router with wifi from my laptop! I was showing 2 connection addresses on the WiThrottle window on my laptop. I turned off my Wifi connection to that router and have had no issues since. Still testing, but have high hopes...knock on iron rail! I'll let you know the final result.
Thank you for your concern.
It sounds like very limited bandwith between the base station and the locomotives, rather than a throttle communication issue. As you add more engines under control, the total packet of information from the base station to the track gets longer and longer.
Who wrote the software?
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
